If there’s one thing President Donald Trump isn’t short on, it’s supporters. I don’t think anyone would argue that Trump has a larger and more loyal base of supporters than perhaps any president in United States history.
Because of what’s currently going on post-election, with legal battles raging and supporters demanding election transparency and integrity, multiple pro-Trump groups are assembling this weekend in Washington D.C. as part of a “StopTheSteal” protest.
While the thought of an ultra-massive Trump rally in the nation’s capital is exciting in its own right, the president posted an interesting tweet on Friday in which he not only acknowledged the upcoming protest, but teased that he might even make an appearance.
“Heartwarming to see all of the tremendous support out there, especially the organic Rallies that are springing up all over the Country, including a big one on Saturday in D.C. I may even try to stop by and say hello. This Election was Rigged, from Dominion all the way up & down!” Trump tweeted.

The “StopTheSteal” protest is expected to draw a large number of pro-Trump groups, including “Million MAGA March,” “Women For Trump” and others who believe that the 2020 presidential election was essentially stolen from the president through widespread voter and ballot fraud on the left.
According to Newsmax, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany weighed in on the scheduled protest, saying that she believes it will be “quite large” while declining to guesstimate how many will show up. Given the current political climate mixed with the high-octane emotions of Trump’s supporters right now, this demonstration could be one for the record books.
Given the event’s publicity, it’s not a surprise that a number of counter-protests are expected to take place, which could bring the likes of BLM and Antifa-types face-to-face with pro-Trump demonstrators.
According to The Blaze, the event has already triggered a number of police-related preparation in the area, including making a large portion of downtown DC a “no parking” zone and obviously an increased Metro DC police presence on the day of the events.
And let’s be completely honest — the primary reason why police are expressing concern is the fact that history shows which side is prone to commit violence, loot and burn down cities, and it definitely isn’t the Trump side.
Hopefully the protest goes off without a hitch and even better, hopefully President Trump is able to make an appearance.
