In an interview with Yahoo Finance, Democrat Andrew Yang said he was “surprised and disappointed” that Asian Americans did not “uniformly reject Trump.”
Great to see Yang say he was “disappointed” that Asian Americans didn’t more uniformly reject Trump (63% voted Biden) at the ballot box. pic.twitter.com/Vik1mYxQzc

According to NBC exit polls, 31% of Asian Americans voted for Trump, while 63% voted for Biden.
Exit polling from Edison Research similarly found 30% of Asian Americans voted for Trump.
Yang said “I was surprised and disappointed by those figures. I thought that Asian Americans would uniformly reject Trump given how much he has thrown us under the bus, where the coronavirus is concerned.”
The day after the election, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also similarly lamented how many Latinos voted Republican.
I won’t comment much on tonight’s results as they are evolving and ongoing, but I will say we’ve been sounding the alarm about Dem vulnerabilities w/ Latinos for a long, long time.
There is a strategy and a path, but the necessary effort simply hasn’t been put in ⬇️ https://t.co/HljnWYgeju
