In President Donald Trump’s first appearance since the mainstream corporate media called former Vice President Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election, the president delivered wonderful news in the Rose Garden on Friday with regard to recent COVID-19 progress.
According to The New York Post, due to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s insistence on playing political games with the Trump administration and previously saying that he would never accept a vaccine from Trump until his people “test” it, it appears that the hard-hit state will not be receiving the upcoming vaccine until Cuomo gets out of the way.
“As soon as April, the vaccine will be available to the entire general population with the exception of places like New York state where, for political reasons, the governor decided to say — and I don’t think it’s good politically, I think it’s very bad from a health standpoint — but he wants to take his time with a vaccine,” Trump said.
The president added that it pained him to make the announcement, given his fondness for The Empire State, but put the blame squarely on Cuomo’s political pettiness.
“So we won’t be delivering it to New York until we have authorization to do so. That pains me to say that. This is a very successful amazing vaccine at 90 percent and more. So the governor, Gov. Cuomo, will have to let us know when he’s ready for it.”
“He doesn’t trust where the vaccine’s coming from,” Trump said. “These are coming from the greatest companies anywhere in the world, the greatest labs in the world, but he doesn’t trust the fact that it’s this White House, this administration.”
One example of Cuomo’s Trump Derangement Syndrome was earlier this week, when Cuomo threw a hissy fit in the wake of a major announcement from Pfizer that their version of the COVID-19 vaccine had already achieved a 90 percent success rate — an astonishing and unprecedented number for early vaccine development.
“We can’t let this vaccination plan go forward the way that Trump and his administration is designing it,” Cuomo said in the wake of the news, even calling Trump’s vaccine distribution plan “flawed.”
But Trump’s distribution plan also made the news this week, countering every Democrat narrative because the president announced that the vaccine would not only be available at virtually all major pharmacy chains in America, but that it was also be provided free of charge.
Any reasonable, logical person would agree — party politics aside — that Trump’s vaccine rollout plan is pretty much as perfect as it could possibly be.
As it stands, Cuomo, who is directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of the state’s senior citizens because he crammed them back into centers that were COVID hotbeds, might now be responsible for even more deaths in his state because he can’t stop his perpetual pissing contest with Trump for even five minutes.
What a shame. Hopefully, the people of New York vote this clown out of office at the first possible chance.
